I am a second-year PhD student at Donald Bren
School of Information and Computer Sciences at University of
California, Irvine. My research interests
lie in the area of Natural
Interactions, Gesture Recognition, Augmented Reality, and Computer
Vision. I am working under supervision of Associate
Professor Cristina Lopes.
I earned my BSc degree from Tehran University then worked as an R&D Developer for almost a year. Being awarded the prestigious A*STAR scholarship, I moved to Singapore to pursue Master's degree in Nanyang Technological University. Afte submitting my thesis, I was recruited as a Research Associate and worked at the same university for 1.5 years. In Aug 2011, I moved to United States to pursue my PhD.
