Description: xArch is an XML-based Architecture Description Language. The results of this collaboration between UC Irvine and CMU is the xArch instances schema, an extensible core XML schema that is useful for representing architectural instances (of components, connectors, and interfaces) as well as hierarchically constructed components and connectors, and arbitrary groups of these elements. Users can independently augment and extend this core schema to add additional support for their particular needs or research interests.
