Please make your hotel researvations at the Hampton Inn as indicated. The hotel is across the street from the Beckman Institute at UIUC where the Workshop will be held. (Room location will follow in the days ahead). Check Mapquest.com or Yahoo Maps as needed. (directions from hotel web site)

Ground Transportation: The Hampton Inn has a free shuttle Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. from Willard Airport in Savoy, IL to the hotel. The participant just needs to call the Hampton Inn (217-337-1100) and request a pick-up. The same is true for their return flight--they can make a shuttle reservation at the hotel front desk. If the participant arrives outside of the above hours, there are taxis waiting when each flight arrive. Taxis: Yellow-Checker 217-355-3553; Checker Cab Co. 217-355-0200; Corky's Cab Company 217-352-3121. These companies all have shuttles for several people traveling together, but the shuttles usually need to be called at the same numbers listed for taxis.

Last, we request that you finalize your air travel plans (if you have not done so) and hotel reservations NO LATER THAN 30 September 2003. If you are unable to finalize your plans by then, please contact us BEFORE that date, and let us know when your plans will be finalized.
