Academic Honesty In this course you are bound by the ICS policy on cheating, as well as UCI's policy on academic honesty (which is also printed in the Schedule of Classes). In this course you will be taking exams and carrying out homework assignments involving programs and other written deliverables. In all cases you must complete this work alone; there will be no team efforts allowed on exams or homeworks. All suspected incidents of academic dishonesty will be reported to the ICS Associate Chair for Undergraduate Affairs. In addition, if the instructor believes there is evidence confirming that cheating has occurred, the student or students involved will be given an automatic F in the course, and a letter documenting the incident will be sent to the student and placed in the student's official academic record. |
